The Track Sprayer is used to treat large surfaces with accurate concentrations of insecticide with an even surface coverage. Surfaces treated at LITE to date include ceramic, concrete, brick, mud, and filter papers. Following spraying, the surfaces are stored under controlled conditions for drying.
The track sprayer can be used to treat surfaces in preparation for bioassays to assess Indoor Residual Spraying applications and also to investigate spraying techniques.
Validation of the Micron Track Sprayer has been completed in LITE.
